TACAMO Fallen Brother Thomas Holland

Feb 26th, 1951-May 11th, 2017

Thomas J. Holland, age 66, of Hardy, Arkansas passed away on Thursday May, 11 2017, in the comfort of his own home. Thomas was born on February 26, 1951 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Max Holland and Mildred Wheeler Holland-Pearson. Thomas served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and Army National Guard. He was a U.S. Veteran who served in Vietnam. As an RN, his true calling was taking care of critically ill premature babies at the Newborn Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He was also a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Thomas loved his family, his country and his Savior. Thomas is survived by wife Lynn Holland, of the home; daughter Mildred Spears Holland of Newport, Arkansas; sons Thomas “Brian” Holland (wife Jenny) of Chandler, Arizona and Charles Eric Holland (wife Shelley) of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister Rose Trosper of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren Anthony Chiu, Lanfaye Holland, Forrest Holland, and Elliot Holland; nephew Cody Trosper of Jonesboro, Arkansas; nieces Jessy Trosper of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Ashley Millar of West Hollywood, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Clennie & Ida Wheeler, and his uncle Billy Wheeler. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, Arkansas at 2PM on Sunday May 21, 2017. Officiating will be Brother Larry White and former SS teacher Jesse George.
