FIRST Lifetime Achievement Award

Many TACAMO sailors of the community have performed not only exemplary while on active duty, but also achieved far greater recognition for service to the community and country throughout their lifetime.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is the pinnacle of all TCVA awards and will be awarded to only the most deserving individuals. Government employees, supporting contractors and civilians who have greatly impacted the TACAMO Program are also eligible.

On December 7th the TACAMO Community will present the FIRST Lifetime Achievement Award to Nora Tyson. 

The weekend celebration begins on December 5th for Early Bird Gathering at the Sheraton Tucson Hotel & Suites. On December 6th, join us for Hercs, Jazz Music & TACAMO Sunset at Boneyard Safari. We will visit seven TACAMO planes (888, 170, 172, 173, 173, 175, and 177) while listening to Jazz Music and watching a TACAMO sunset.  On December 7th, TCVA will present Nora Tyson with the Lifetime Achievement Award at 10 a.m. in the Women in Flight Exhibit area of the Pima Air & Space Museum.  In the evening,  join us for a celebration evening,  Happy Hour at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. To end the weekend, join everyone on a group tour of the Titan Museum on December 8th.
