Sense of Belonging: TACAMO "One Together"
How Your Membership Supports Our Mission
Your membership directly supports our mission of building a community, sharing common experiences at reunions, preserving TACAMO history, and collecting artifacts for museum displays that educate the public and honor the service and sacrifice of our members. Here’s how your fee is used:
Keeping the Association Operational: Your membership helps keep TCVA running 24/7, allowing us to continue to serve the community and maintain a strong presence.
Funding Special Events and Recognition:
Supporting special events and promotions that foster connection and engagement.
TACAMO Hall of Fame Awards to recognize those who have made significant contributions to our community.
Printing and distributing brochures, flyers, and displays to keep everyone informed.
Offsetting reunion expenses to help us continue hosting events where the TACAMO family can come together.
Supporting Key Projects:
Upkeep on TACAMO Museum Displays: Ensuring the preservation of our history through exhibits at places like the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum in Maryland.
VQ-3 Crew FOUR Memorial at Wake Island: Honoring our members with lasting tributes to their service.
TACAMO Memorial at Punchbowl: Contributing to the upkeep of the memorial at Punchbowl National Cemetery in Hawaii.
Supporting the Next Generation with FIVE Scholarships: Your membership helps provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). These scholarships ensure the next generation of leaders has the resources they need to succeed, fostering innovation and excellence within the TACAMO community and beyond.
