Charlie "Tom" Walton had been in the hospital on a ventilator and things were looking up. Unfortunately, on the morning of December 7 the blood infection he had got worse. The family was informed he would put on the ventilator for the rest of his life and the incredibly hard decision was made to let him go.
TCVA will post again when
we receive the obituary

VQ3 Reel Operators AMH 2 Charlie “Tom” Walton. "TACAMO knows him as Charlie", his family calls him Tom. He recently suffered from a stroke and is paralyzed on his left side. His sister told me that he is on a feeding tube and is possibly going on a ventilator. He is in Albuquerque, NM. He trained under Charlie and Rex “Country” Willums upon arrival in 1984. I seem to recall that he served in the transition from Guam.
TCVA extends its sympathy and prayer for peace to Charlie "Tom" Walton's family and friends during this time of the passing.
