" Lt Cdr Edward Carnot Flynn USN (Ret.) - I have known Big Ed for over 30 years now. I am not sure what years he was in VQ-4, I think he was in Maintenance Control. He has been serving the St. Mary’s Community supporting many good causes since I met him. He was a NSO for the DAV and very active in caring and helping out Veterans. Between him and Robert Boles both being gone now there will be a big void in St. Mary’s County DAV Chapter 26. Both spent countless hrs supporting Vets.

Ed has been dealing with a type of blood cancer , multimyloma, for over 10 yrs."
